Saved by the insta slalom course

I would like to say a huge thanks to Action Water Sports and Jerry Brouwer for their amazing support for another year of clinics in Michigan, setting me up with an Action truck and a MasterCraft Pro Star 197 in all three clinic locations - Allendale, Fenton and Travers City. I would also like to say a huge thanks to Dave and Logan Haughn for supplying the Insta Slalom Course for the North end of Silver Lake, we would have not been able to ski at all without their help and support.

Beating the wind!

Well the 25 mph wind in Travers City today was a big problem for the course on the South end of Silver Lake, but this was not going to keep us off the water today. Thanks to Dave and Logan Haughn from Travers for the loan of their Insta Slalom Course and John Merrifield for the use of his beautiful property on the North end of Silver Lake where the water conditions are flat calm. After a shift of locations and the installing skills of Dave and Logan, we we ready to start the clinic.

Windy Weather

The joys of an outdoor sport! The weather forecast for today is 20-25 mph wind. Thanks to my Tour partner Logan Haughn who is from Travers City for bringing his portable course and John Merryfield, a many participant of our clinics, for letting us anchor the portable course out in front of his beach property at the North end of Silver Lake where the water is like glass, the crazy north wind will not take away our fun today!!!

The 51st US Masters

We are at the 51st US Masters Championships at Callaway Garden's Pine Mountain Georgia. After a fantastic day of preliminaries yesterday we are down to the finals competition on Robin Lake. The weather is definitely more favorable for today's finals than on yesterdays first round of competition, the wind was swirly and up and down in strength. Today is so far pretty consistent and is looking perfect for a great day of finals.
