I had the privilage of join the Major of Warwickshire to present the winners trophies at this years National Kids Cutting Edge Championship at Ten-80 Tamworth. An honour for me as this is really how I got involved in competing in the sport a few many years ago, at the age of 12. The were more than 60 Kids from all over the country competing in there reagoinal teams as well as in individual competition in Slalom Tricks Wakeboard Kneeboard & Barefooting. There is an amazing amount of talent starting to get involved in towed water sports in the UK and seeing these kids have the first chance to ski infront of a crowd and their piears was very cool to see and be part of. This event will stick with these kids for a life time as my fist competition has done with me. I have to say that these kids did amazingly as I remember not getting past the first buoy in my first event, if their score are anything to go by we will many World Champions to follow and be proud off in the future of water skiing.
