It was time to head South to Alabama and drive close to 600 miles to Point A Lake in Andalusia! We wanted to make good time and keep the Tour Rig moving, the things I do for the On Location Tour Team!



After driving 200 miles on Sunday night, we pulled over at another truck stop and hungout with America's finest truckers once again! We finally crossed the State line into Alabama at around 3.00pm and we were starting to get real hungry!


Shortly after passing the State line, Gar needed to rest and it was my turn to drive. He pulled over in a rest area on I65 heading South, you don't see a huge space rocket on the side of the highway every day of the week!


We all decided we would like to eat some local Bar B Q food, as this is what Alabama is known for, after a search on Google we came up with Fat Girls Bar B Q a little off the beaten track but most likely worth the drive. We drove right to the location on the GPS, but of course there was no Bar B Q to be seen anywhere. By now we were very very hungry and ready to eat anything! We started heading back to the highway, made a few more turns and road changes and guess what, we came to a T junction and face to face with Fat Girls Bar B Q! Not sure how that happened but we were definitely ready to eat by now!


Gar and my meal consisted of Bar B Q pulled pork, Bar B Q Beef tip on rice with Bar B Q source of course, Fried Okra, Fried Green Tomato's, fried Squash, Black Eyed Peas and Macaroni Cheese!
Diego could not stray away from the usual burger and fries.
I tell you not the most healthy meal we've had whilst on Tour, but one of the tastiest!


Gar had to lay down and rest after that meal!


Time to hit the road and keep heading South.
